Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc., American multinationational hospitality company headquartered in Tysons – Virginia, founded in 1919 in Cisco – Texas by Conrad Hilton has announced the opening of its first hotel in Paraguay ; Palmaroga Hotel Asuncion, Tapestry Collection by Hilton expanding its presence in South America.
This opening marks Hilton's 10th addition to the Tapestry Collection in the Caribbean and Latin America with plans to add 10 more hotels to this collection in the region over the next four years and is part of the company's growth strategy in this geographical area, with the group operating over 270 hotels and planning to open more in other countries.

The Palmaroga Hotel Asuncion is located in downtown Asuncion, vibrant and lively capital of Paraguay, close to Palacio López, the National Pantheon of Heroes, not far from history exhibits at the Casa de la Independencia Museum, conveniently located 19 kilometres from Silvio Pettirossi International Airport and with easy access to the most important attractions of the South American city.
The hotel is hosted in a historic building dating back to 1901 which once served as the headquarters for the Superior Court of Justice with the recent renovation and restyling preserved its neo – classical architecture adding modern amenities.
