IHG Hotels & Resorts, British multinational hospitality company based in Windsor, Berkshire, England, UK, has officially opened two new hotels in the Miraflores district of Lima, capital and major city of Peru with its InterContinental and indigo brands.
This strategic move confirms the commitment of the group to enlarge its presence in Latin America and concretely in Peru, a country that is experiencing a strong recovery in the tourism sector, with international visitor numbers and tourism revenue both significantly increasing, showing a positive growth trend with the government that is investing in infrastructure and projects to further boost the industry.
Both hotels are in prime location near the Costa Verde cliffs, offering panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, in Miraflores, an upscale residential and and shopping district of Lima, one of the wealthiest areas that make up the Peruvian capital, located south of the city's historic centre, as well as one of its main tourist destinations.
The two hotels are strategically situated close to local attractions, including the popular districts of Barranco and San Isidro and the Larcomar shopping centre, making them attractive for business and leisure travellers.
• InterContinental Real Lima Miraflores - Located 2.9 kilometres from the stunning beach Playa Redondo, a two minutes from the Larcomar Shopping Center, the hotel hosted in a 21 - story building features 321 rooms, including 29 suites. The property offers amenities such as a Club InterContinental lounge, over 950 square metres of event space, and Lima's largest outdoor hotel infinity pool on its rooftop.
• Hotel Indigo Lima Miraflores - A short five - minute drive from Miraflores Central Park and Larcomar Shopping Centre, the hotel provides 76 rooms, including 29 suites, a lounge and rooftop pool. The establishment is inspired by the local neighborhood, featuring design elements that reflect the area's cultural and historical significance.
The two hotels are connected by various dining and wellness facilities, including five culinary concepts, from a personalized open kitchen experience at The Market to fine dining at Nau Nikken Rooftop. The Presence Spa at the hotels offers 400 square meters dedicated to relaxation and wellness treatments.
