Four Seasons Hotels Limited, trading as Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, a luxury hotel and resort firm based in Toronto, Canada, a group which transformed the hospitality industry by combining personalized, genuine care with a commitment to excellence in service and accurate details, unveiled plans to open a resort and residences in Telluride’s Mountain Village in San Miguel Couny in the southwestern portion of the U.S. state of Colorado within the towering Rocky Mountains amid forested peaks and a famed base of a popular ski and golf resort.
Telluride Ski Resort is well known for its over 2.000 skiable acres, including a wide range of terrain from beginners to expert, high speed lifts and famous for its stunning mountain setting in the San Juan Mountains.
The Four Seasons Resort and Residences Telluride will be accessible from Telluride and Montrose Regional Airports aims to provide ski - in /ski - out access to Telluride Ski Resort and promise to have a notable impact for its services and exclusivity.
The project alongside Fort Partners, a Miami based, privately held real estate ownership, development and management company and Merrimac Ventures, a real estate investment and development firm headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida will be located adjacent to the gondola connecting Telluride to Mountain Village.
The development will comprise three interconnected buildings, featuring architecture by Olson Kundig, architectural firm based in Seattle, Washington, a collaborative global design practice whose work expands the context of built and natural landscapes and interiors by Clements Design, interior design company headquartered in West Hollywood, California.
The design will incorporate natural materials and floor - to ceiling windows to highlight views of the surrounding San Juan Mountains.
The resort will include 52 rooms, 43 hotel residences, and 26 private residences. The hotel residences will offer one to four - bedrooms layouts while the private residences will range from two to five bedrooms.
Amenities will include two dining outness, a fitness facility, a spa eith a thermal lounge, cold plounge, eight treatment rooms, a lap pool and outdoor hot tub.
Residents will have access to resort amenities, include a ski valet, a private lounge, and a dedicated residential team.
This project adds to Four Seasond’s portfolio of alpine properties in North America, which includes locations in Jackson Hole, Santa Fe, Vail, and Whistler, as well as an upcoming development in Deer Valley.
