Bees Airlines | New Low Cost Airline of Romania

On August 5th, an A320 aircraft landed at the Greek Airport of Heraklion on the island of Crete, coming from Bucharest, Henri Coandă International Airport, located in Otopeni, 16.5 km north of the capital of Romania, and it was the international debut of Bees Airlines, a low cost airline founded last March.

Currently the company starts with only two aircraft but with the intention of expaniding, it probably sounds the name because previously an airline used this brand which is now part of a new ownership.

The launch of this new group is significant in Romania, a country that has an empty in the aviation sector with the state-owned Tarom in very serious losses and the only private company that existed, Blue Air, after acquiring a relevant level has suffered a collapse due to lack of financial solidity and serious management errors.

Bees Airlines is releasing some routes until October waiting to set up his plan for winter season.

Among these connections departing from Bucharest, Henri Coandă International Airport in addition to the destination Crete there will be Prague, Verona, Tel Aviv and Baden – Baden.

In addition to all that there are some flights managed by Bee Airlines with departure from Chisinau, capital of Moldova with destination Verona and from Suceava, city located in the north-east of Romania in the historical region of Bucovina with destinations Baden - Baden and Tel Aviv.
