Sicily – Italy | "Vivi la Sicilia tutto l’ anno " Experience Sicily all Year Round - Promotional Tourism Campaign

 

Sicily, the largest Italian islands and of the Mediterranean, situated south of the Italian Peninsula, sunny region with a very rich historical and cultural heritage, highlighted by a mi;d climate all year round through the Sicilian Region launches a promotional campaign called "Vivi la Sicilia tutto l' anno", Experience Sicily all year round created to encourage tourism on the island 365 days a year, even in the low season months.

A video and various photographic content will be broadcast on digital and traditional platforms narrating the experience of a group of young people who are in Sicily during the autumn season.

The President of the Region Renato Schifani declared that this initiative inaugurates a virtuous path, a communication strategy intended to encourage the deseasonalization of tourist flows to Sicily from Italy, Europe and non-EU countries.

The President said that Sicily is like a kaleidoscope of colours, nature, experiences and culture to be enjoyed practically all year round expecting multiple and tangible benefits for a sector that has always been a driving force for the local economy.

In Italy, the promotion began on November 4th on Google, YouTube, social channels, with organic content and sponsored campaigns on Meta, both on Facebook and Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok and will be strengthened from mid-November for 14 days with the distribution of banners on the renowned Corriere.it.

The promotional campaign on Sicily also includes an advertisement in December for two of the main magazines dedicated to tourism such as Dove and Bell' Italia.

In France and Germany, the dissemination of the video is based on a Google and YouTube campaign and on social networks through sponsored distributions on Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok.

Among non-EU countries, promotion is also planned in Great Britain and the United States of America, also in this case with an advertising plan on Google, YouTube, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok.

The dissemination of the promotional campaign will also be carried out through continuous analysis and optimization activities linked to the performance that will be achieved in order to achieve the maximum result.

From mid-November, the video will also be broadcast on the display of the iconic Times Square, major commercial intersection, tourist destination, entertainment and Broadway Theatre District hub and renowned neighbourhood in the Midtown Manhattan section of New York City for 10 days with 22 daily steps.
