Barceló Hotel Group| €50 Million New Madeira Hotels Investment
Barceló Hotel Group, famous Spanish multinational company based in Palma de Mallorca, founded in 1931 that owns a Hotel division and another dedicated to tourism and travel has decided to invest 50 million euros for a major operation in Madeira.
The investment of the Mallorcan hotel group will focus on the purchase and renovation of two hotels.
The first one is the Quinta das Vistas Palace Gardens Hotel located in Funchal, an elegant structure that was originally created from a stylish manor house that will be renovated and renamed as Quinta Funchal Garden Hotel integrated into the Royal Hideaway brand.
The second Hotel in question refers to a new accomodation that will presumably be opened by 2025 in Funchal, near the central Mercado dos Lavradores the beating heart of the Madeiran city. It will be a 4-star Hotel integrated and marketed under the Occidental brand.
These Barceló Hotel Group operations open up an excellent sales channel to a destination that has been and is in high demand in recent decades with very significant incoming flows, creating another important business path on the market for the Balearic Hotel Group.
