Antigua and Barbuda, sovereign island country that lies at the conjuncture of the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean in the Leeward Islands part of the Lesser Antilles will host the 43rd edition of the Travel Caribbean Marketplace which will be held from 18 to 22 May 2025.
This important event affords tourism suppliers the opportunity to meet face to face with wholesalers from around the world selling Caribbean vacation travel over the course of two days.
Antigua and Barbuda was chosen as the location of Caribbean Travel Marketplace by CHTA Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association founded in 1962, the leading association representing hotels and businesses dedicated to tourism and hospitality in the region in light of the excellent results of the destinations in question on the tourism front.
The CEO of Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority Colin C. James commented that in the current year the country has recorded an increase in arrivals of 16%, surpassing the record levels of 2019, transforming itself into a reference point for tourism and international investments.
Antigua and Barbuda Hotels & Tourism Association President Craig Marshall declared that Caribbean Market Place expects up to 2000 participants and represents an incredible opportunity for the country to have great visibility in front of industry leaders, potential investors and key stakeholders in the global tourism sector.
