Honduras | IHT Launches the New Brand "Honduras Naturalmente Tuya" for the Touristic Promotion of the Country

 

Honduras attractive Central American country with Caribbean coastlines to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the south, famous for its tropical rainforest near Guatemala, Mayan heritage patrimony, the Bay Islands, a diving destination that's part of the 1,000 km – long Mesoamerican Barrier Reef through IHT, the Honduran Institute of Tourism has presented the new tourist brand "Honduras Naturalmente Tuya" (Honduras Naturally Yours).

This initiative becomes a symbol that aims to strengthen the position of a country that represents one of the most emblematic destinations in Central America.

The Manuel Bonilla Theatre in the capital Tegucigalpa was the venue for the launch of the brand in an evening enlivened by music, art, gastronomy and local culture that highlighted the diversity and richness that the country offers to both national and international visitors.

Honduran Minister of Tourism Yadira Gomez declared that the new brand represents a new chapter in the country's tourism promotion, an initiative that will not only attract more international visitors but will also strengthen the pride and sense of belonging of the local population.

The primary objective is to show the world the great diversity and cultural richness that Honduras offers by inviting everyone to discover its unique treasures.

The brand's design with its graphic elements and bright colors captures the essence of the country, blue in its essence evokes marine fauna, orange is the symbol of the Mayan heritage, red represents the characteristic plumage of the scarlet macaw, green is the emblem of coral reefs and yellow is a celebration of the cultural richness of Honduras' ethnic groups.

The presentation of the of the brand was curated by the Deputy Minister of Tourism Reizel Vilorio who indicated that the motto "Honduras Naturally Tuya" is more than a slogan but an invitation to discover a country rich in culture, history and nature.

This important event was attended by Boris Iraheta, Secretary General of the Central American Agency CATA, who expressed his support for this new initiative that seeks to position Honduras as a must-see destination in the region.

Also present was the President of the Honduran Chamber of Tourism Andrés Ehrler who underlined the importance of this project as a key to the development of the country's various tourism sectors.
