Marrakech, splendid, former imperial city situated in western Morocco, home to stunning, palaces, garden, mosques, with its densely packed Medina, a walled medieval centre dating to the Berber Empire highlighted by thriving souks and mazelike alleys will host from 30th October to 02nd November 2024 MAS Air Show, one of the most prestigious events on the African continent.
The Marrakech military air base will be the venue for the edition of this international exhibition dedicated to aeronautics and space, an important event jointly organized by the Moroccan Ministry of Industry and Trade, the National Defense Administration and MEDZ, a subsidiary of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion.
This year's edition will feature an unprecedented participation with a 12.500 square metres of space, 300 exhibitors, more than 75 official delegations, spectacular aerial demonstrations, a dynamic exhibition and a rich program of high-level conferences that will address emerging trends and current and future challenges of the sector.
MAS, Marrakech Air Show 2024 will focus in particular on innovation and new technologies dedicated to start - ups and research projects and challenges of energy transition and sustainable mobility will also be at the centre of relevant debates and round tables.
After its launch in 2008, MAS, Marrakech Air Show gained more and more visibility and presence with a steady growth over the years proving its attractiveness and Morocco's positioning as a hub of the global aerospace industry, establishing itself as a unique platform for exchange and collaboration between the main players operating in this sector.
The North African country's strategic location combined with its world-class infrastructure and investment in technology have made this Maghreb nation a key regional hub for the aerospace and defense industry.
Nowadays in Morocco there are more than 147 companies in the sector that have created over 20.000 jobs with an integration rate of 40%, one of the highest in the world.
This new edition promises to be even richer than the previous ones in terms of news and business opportunities, in the last 20 years the aerospace industry has developed enormously, offering great potential opportunities to global players in this sector.
