Room Mate Hotels, a hospitality company, headquartered in Madrid, Spain known for its personalized approach to travel, operating a portfolio of stylish hotels and aparthotels across Europe, a group with a special focus on offering unique and memorable experiences opened a new boutique hotel in the beating hearth of the capital of Italy, Rome.
With this opening Room Mate continues its expansion in Italy where already has seven establishments, including hotels and apartment buildings.
The new establishment in the Eternal City is Mia Room Mate Collection, 4 - star hotel located at Via Capo d’ Africa, 54 between two relevant urban arteries such as Via Labicana and Via Annia, very close to the Basilica of San Clemente, famous for its beautiful frescoes and mosaics near the iconic Colosseum, the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built and the Roman Forum, the emblematic site of triumphal processions and elections in the Imperial Rome.
The hotel offering style privacy and an evocative setting in the beating heart of Rome is hosted in a building which was a school developed on three floors at the beginning of the 20th century boasting a stylish neoclassical façade.
The chain chaired by Kike Sarasola explained that the Mia Room Collection stands out for being a boutique hotel with an interior design by Luis Garcia Fraile, as well as for the views it offers of the centre of Rome and its rooftop terrace.
The property features 65 elegant, spacious rooms, subdivided in five executive, 34 superior, 11 triple and 15 Deluxe offering a modern design and comfort, providing services such a restaurant, bar, gym, 24/7 concierge, four spaces for events and meetings and is a dog friendly establishment.
CEO of Room Mate Hotel Kike Sarasola said that Mia Room Collection is the chain’ s second hotel in Rome and Italy is still a priority market and loving to continue growing here.
