IHG Hotels & Resorts, British multinational hospitality company headquartered in Windsor, Berkshire, England, UK is continuing to grow in the Muddle East and it has signed a management agreement to launch the Holiday Inn Jeddah Al Nassem in Saudi Arabia set to open in June 2026.
The hotel will open its doors in Jeddah, the largest centre in Mecca Province, and the country's second largest city after Riyadh, located along the Red Sea in the Hejaz region, recognized for its historic port, cultural heritage, highlighted by a unique blend of old and new architecture, and known to be a modern commercial hub and gateway for pilgrimages to the Islamic holy cities Mecca and Medina.
The agreement reinforces IHG Hotel & Resorts dedication to the Saudi Kingdom's thriving hospitality industry with the British company already operating 45 hotels across six brands in the Arab country.
The new hotel will feature the brand' s Open Lobby concept that aims to revolutionize the way the guests interact with hotel spaces, creating a dynamic and integrated environment, designed to provide a versatile space where fuests can work, dine, or relax.
Holiday Inn Jeddah Al Nassem aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 objectives, which aims to achieve the goal of increased diversification economically in the public sectors, in line with the vision of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
The property will be located in Al Naseem, a thriving and lively neighborhood bordering the Red Sea between King Abdulaziz Road and Al Marwa district, known for its vibrant markets, bustling streets and modern malls, an area that offers a diverse mix of commercial and residential properties, and leading healthcare services, a popular spot for both locals and tourists seeking an authentic Saudi Arabian experience.
The hotel will feature 222 comfortable rooms, four dining options, a spa, an outdoor pool, fitness centre, s dedicated business centre and meeting rooms for corporate guests.
