Aleph Hospitality, the largest independent management company in the Middle East and Africa, based in Dubai, UAE, with offices in Saudi Arabia, group specializes in the operation and development of internationally recognized brands has agreed to manage 26 ONOMO Hotels across 14 countries in Africa.
The United Arab Emirates group will take over the operation of 26 ONOMO Hotels, a pan - African, mid – scale business hotel group with properties in various nations of the African continent with its head office in Casablanca, Morocco from African Hotel Development hotel group.
This transition, effective from 1st September 2025, marks a major portfolio management for Aleph Hospitality, with an agreement that aligns with Africa Hotel Development's strategy to focus on brand development and asset management.
This strategic shift is intended to facilitate the expansion of the ONOMO brand established in 2009, offering hotels characterized by a blend of contemporary design with local culture, primarily targeting business travellers and those seeking cultural experiences in Africa, aiming to double its scale within the next five years.
The management shift to Aleph Hospitality is part of a broader realignement to enhance operational efficiency and accelerate growth in the African and international landscape.
By assuming management of these properties, Aleph Hospitality will double its portfolio, an expansion that represents a critical step towards achieving its goal of operating 50 hotels by the end of 2025.
The deal increases Dubai - based hospitality's footprint in the region and establishes it as a prominent independent hotel management entity in the Middle East and Africa.
As part of the operational transition, Aleph Hospitality plans to open four new regional offices and initiate cluster operations in several key markets, including Kenya and Morocco.
These countries, very popular and demanded destinations are already significant markets for Aleph Hospitality, and the expanded operations are expected to enhance service efficiency and market penetration.
