Embratur , the Brazilian Tourist Board in collaboration with Sebrae Nacional, Brazilian Support Service for Micro and Small Businesses, that aims to promote entrepreneurship in Brazil launched “Feel Brazil”, a new platform spotlighting key destinations, authenticity, cultural diversity and hospitality throughout the country.
This innovative platform was officially launched at a a press event during WTM Latin America 2025, held in São Paulo and it consists in a handpicked collection of 101 unique experiences across 61 municipalities spanning all 27 states in Brazil featuring the country’s top attractions.
This initiative unveils 101 top attractions across Brazil ranging from its stunning beaches to the thrilling safaris in the Pantanal, a natural region encompassing the world’s largest tropical wetland area, and the world largest flooded grasslands, located mostly within the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul, showcasing diverse, sustainable experiences that highlights the nation’s beauty, its diverse culture and warm hospitality.
As highlight the 59% of these experiences are run by women and more than 80% are inclusive and committed to social and environmental sustainability.
Through Feel Brazil platform, a qualified international audience will fain access to these experiences, expanding visibility in global markets.
To support the platform, Embratur is providing several tools for promotion of these experiences including digital content, webinars and business meetings, as Fam trips and campaigns, and these actions will roll out in stages until the end of 2025.
MSEs, Micro and small enterprises which account 90% of Brazil’s tourism sector, play a vital role in the “Feel Brazil” initiative, with more than 70% of the highlighted experiences provided by these local entrepreneurs.
Embratur’s President, Marcelo Freixo said that the new platform aims to increase average tourist spending and diversify tourism destinations and with the success of “Feel Brazil” the country gains more international competitiveness by attracting tourists looking for unique and sustainable experiences and at the same there is a creation of promotional development and encouraging job and income generation for local communities.
Director of International Marketing, Business and Sustainability at Embratur, Bruno Reis said that the organization does just want to map the destinations but it wants to nurture these experiences, understanding which markets they are best suites for, through commercial intelligence.
Sebrae’s Nacional’s President, Décio Lima said that the entity wants to showcase tourism experiences from across the country. With this strategy it is possible positioning Brazil as a diverse destination, whether it’s nature tourism, indigenous community experiences, or sun and beach tourism.
Entrerpreneur Nilzete dos Santos from Bahia, who presented the programme “Caminho dos Orixas” the path of the Orixás said that it was a big dream to see Embratur promoting diverse Brazilian destinations and Sebrae dedicating itself showing how much is possible for small entrepreneurs to be part of of the tourism chain.
