Dolce Vita Orient Express, the first Italian luxury train, will start to bein operation in the spring of 2025 and reservations are already open.
Labeled as the "train of dreams" with its name paying homage to the "Dolce Vita", a historical period starring "joie de vivre", artistic fervor, glamour and with distinctive symbol the famous satirical comedy-drama film realized in 1960 by the great Federico Fellini already has its itineraries.
There are eight itineraries available departing from and arriving in Rome, each based on exclusivity and Made in Italy.
Among the destinations there will be the iconic “la Serenissima” Venice, the idyllic Portofino, pearl of the Gulf of Tigullio, Matera, Lucanian city, UNESCO site and famous for its "Sassi" and then again destinations of great relevance in Abruzzo, Piedmont, Sicily for a total of 14 regions and 13 locations.
On board the Dolce Vita Orient Express, passengers will have the opportunity to taste the dishes of the three-Michelin-starred German chef Heinz Beck, founder of the Order of the Knights of Italian Cuisine, and totally immerse themselves in the Italian style thanks to a design that with its charm wants to praise the era of the Dolce Vita.
The train provides 12 carriages will accommodate a maximum of 62 passengers with accommodations that include 18 suite, 12 deluxe cabins and the magnificent Dolce Vita Suite.
Luxurytravelmagazine. com reports that alongside the unique experience on board this train of dreams, travellers will have options to enjoy radial excursions coming into direct contact with the charm of the splendid landscapes, nature, urban beauties, cities boasting fine art, lakes, mountains and coasts of the beautiful Italy.
