Iberia | Awarded for Customer Service Excellence by APEX Five Stars Global Airline 2025

 

Iberia, the flag carrier of Spain founded in 1927, based in Madrid with its main hub at Adolfo Suárez Madrid – Barajas Airport, legally incorporated as Iberia Lineas Aéreas de España Operadora, Sociedad Unipersonal, member of Oneworld Alliance has been awarded with the famous and prestigious APEX Five Stars Global Airline 2025 award in recognition of the excellence of the service offered to customers.

This award, considered a title of excellence in the aviation sector, was awarded by APEX, the Airline Passenger Experience Association, one of the most prestigious organizations in the world that is in charge of analyzing and evaluating the qualities of various services including passenger service in companies around the world.

To carry out all that, key aspects concerning the travel experience are taken into consideration ranging from the comfort of the seats, the service offered in the cabin, the quality of the food on board, the in-flight entertainment system, the availability of Wi-Fi and VIP lounges.

The APEX Five Stars Global Airlines are the only global awards based on real opinions of passengers who are protagonists in receiving and using the service and every year APEX collects and analyzes data, feedback and reviews of over a million flights from almost 600 airlines around the world.

Once collected, this data is carefully verified by external reviewers who confirm the authenticity of the reviews, guaranteeing the reliability of the information and once this process is completed, these awards are awarded which offer the 5 stars to a limited group of 40 airlines.

In this edition, the qualification criteria for achieving 5 stars have been analyzed significantly, further limiting the number of airlines to achieve this relevant recognition.
