Visit Finland recently concluded a very successful roadshow in China, showcasing its offer in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai from 24th to 28th March 2025, an initiative aimed to establish a solid relationship with China that is the largest Asiatic market for the Scandinavian country.
A delegation of 25 Finnish tourism businesses participated to the roadshow, seeking to strengthen strong connections with the Chinese market promoting Finland's post - pandemic tourism opportunities showcasing a wide array of innovative tourist products, proposals and options for every kind of traveller in every segment and niche conquering the Chinese operators.
In this way China and Finland joined forces to rejuvenate tourism after this successful multi- city roadshow that aimed at strengthening ties in the tourism & travel industry with a special spotlight on Finnish Lapland, the stunning northermost region of Finland, well known for its vast subarctic wilderness, natural attractions the rich Sámi culture, ski resorts and natural phenomena including the midnight sun and the Northern Light, all elements conquered Chinese audience.
Both countries look to revive international tourism in the wake of the pandemic. Tourism changed, travellers want to live authentic and unique experiences leaving the usual standard trips in a corner, and turning page with innovative and new captivating intitiatives is the key for the revival of tourism.
