IHG Hotels & Resorts, renowned British multinational company headquartered in Windsor, Berkshire, England, UK, group that manages, operates and franchises hotels, resorts and vacation properties under several brands across the world returns will launch a new global branded luxury hotel in the stunning Barossa Valley in South Australia.
The British group will introduce its luxury hotel brand, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts to one of Australia's most celebrated wine regions, the Barossa Valley, located 60 kilometres northeast od Adelaide city centre, an area encompasses towns such as Angaston, Nuriootpa and Tanunda, a land boasts an array of high – profile wineries offering tours and cellar - door tastings with the signing of InterContinental Barossa Resort & Spa.
The Barossa, with its rich history and renowned natural beauty highlighted by picturesque hills in a stunning valley formed by the North Para River, crossed by the spectacular "Barossa Valley Way", is one of Australia's most popular tourist destinations and the InteContinental Barosa Resort & Spa's prime location in the heart of this beautiful territory will be the perfect luxury tetreat for visitors looking to immerse themselves in the region's wineries and vineyards.
The hotel will be set amid the rolling hills and lush vineyards of the Barossa is scheduled to open in 2028, an operation managed by IHG Hotels & Resorts in partnership with Strategic Alliance.
The property will feature 150 rooms with beautiful views of the vineyards and landscape, a 130 - seat signature restaurant, lounge bar, outdoor garden terrace and the signature Club InterContinental.
Other amenities will include a day spa, fitness centre, a pool, conference and meeting spaces and the resort will also offer scenic walking trails and easy access to a variety of outdoor activities in the region.
