Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts, a luxury collection that features the distinctive bold Italian style of Bvlgari, reflected in its unique design, contemporary Italian cuisine, lavish spas and exclusive services, offering a complete experience of the ultimate Italian hospitality, a group that is a joint venture between Bvlgari and Marriott International's Luxury Group established in 2001, announced a new Bvlgari Resort and Mansion project on a private island off the coast of Abu Dhabi, UAE.
he project part of a strategic portfolio expansion in a key location is the result of an agreement with real estate investment and development company Eagle Hills based in Abu Dhabi founded in 2014, focusing on the development, creation and reinvigoration of urban centres, headed by Mohamed Alabbar, founder and managing director of Emaar Properties.
Architectural and design responsibilities have been assigned to Milan - based ACPV ARCHITECTS, Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, known for their sustainable and culturally integrated approach, an Italian multi - interdisciplinary firm that works internationally, developing projects of all scales, from hotels to offices, production facilities to showroom, residential and commercial complexes.
The landscape design will be managed by another Milanese firm, LAND SRL, a firm developing projects since 1990, from masterplanning to open space design, creating liveable places for a sharing society by reconnecting people with nature, which plans to incorporate both sculptural and organic elements into the surroundings.
The development, planned for completion in 2030 aims to extend the city's iconic corniche, will feature a luxury resort and a series of private mansions on a private island off the coast of Abu Dhabi, the vibrant capital of the United Arab Emirates, sits off the mainland on an island in the Persian Gulf.
The resort will be accessible by a specially constructed bridge or by sea, emphasizing ease of access while maintaining privacy and exclusivity.
The future Bvlgari resort will feature 60 rooms and suites, along with 30 villas, designed to offer views of the sea, Abu Dhabi skyline, or serene coves and 90 private mansions, each featuring distinct landscaping that blends Italian elegance with Arabian cultural elements.
The complex will offer various amenities, including a main building with luxury suites and a penthouse, beachside villas with private pools, a comprehensive spa facility and dining options will range from casual to fine dining, featuring international and local cuisines.
