Hyatt Hotels Corporation has officially opened the Hyatt Regency Xi’an Chamba, a new 310 - room hotel situated in the Chamba Ecological District of Xi’an, the capital of Shaanxi Province in northwest China.
The Chamba Ecological district formed by the confluence of the Chamba River and Bahe River is a peninsula ideal for ecological development, established in 2004 on a 124 - square kilometres in northeastern Xi’an, designed as an urban “green lung” and a green ecological model with numerous parks, wetlands and forests. This area aims to integrate ecological construction with financial, commercial, cultural tourism, and exhibition industries, attracting eco - friendly enterprises to develop a leading international ecological business district.
The hotel is strategically located at 988 Qujiangchi East Road near the Xi’an International Convention and Exhibition Center and the Xi’an Chamba National Wetland Park, its architecture draws from the ancient Chinese ritual of stacking stones, symbolizing balance and harmony incorporating elements inspired by local cultural traditions and the natural surroundings of the Chamba District.
The hotel providing accommodations for both business and leisure travellers features 310 comfortable rooms and suites with an interior design integrates local craftmanship and offering views of the nearby river.
The Hyatt Regency Xi’an Chamba offers a range of dining options, including Xiang Yue, a Chinese restaurant specializing in regional flavours, Market Café, which serves international cuisine and The Lounge which provides a selection of drinks and desserts.
Amenities at the hotel, include a 24 - hour fitness centre, a heated indoor swimming pool, and for events the property offers extensive meeting and event spaces, spanning over 28.800 square feet, and the Regency Ballroom, one of the largest in the area, can accommodate up to 1.000 guests.
The property entered into the Hyatt Regency brand, characterized by hotels and resorts that feature world - class amenities, inviting and elegant accommodation offering comfort and excellence in service.
The hotel is now part of the World of Hyatt loyalty program, offering members the opportunity to earn bonus points for stays between November 1, 2025 and January, 31, 2026.
