Kerzner International Holdings Limited, an independent developer and pioneer operator of luxury and ultra – luxury resorts and private residences, headquartered in Dubai, UAE is planning to develop a new One&Only resort and private residences in New York’s Hudson Valley, U.S., a region that stretches along the Hudson River from Westchester County to Albany, the state capital, known for its numerous vineyards, orchards and farms, including sustainable food champion Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture.
The project is the result of a partnership with Nolan Reynolds International (NRI), a real estate investment, development and hospitality company which manages a diverse portfolio of landmark properties in the U.S. and Latin America, a firm based in Coral Gables, Florida.
Involved in the partnership is also the renowned Culinary Institute of America (CIA), a private culinary school with its main campus in Hyde Park, New York, and branch campuses in Napa and St.Helena, California, San Antonio, Texas, and Singapore, famous for its strong alumni network that includes over 55.000 renowned chefs, entrepreneurs, master sommeliers, mixologists, corporate leaders, and restaurateurs.
This joint venture aims to build on the Hudson Valley’s already vibrant agricultural, historical, and educational tapestry and will offer exceptional opportunities for CIA students, guests, and the local community.
Expected to open in 2028, The resort, a 21 - acre property will be located adjacent to the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, a town in Dutchess County, New York, bordering the Hudson River north of Poughkeepsie, known as the hometown of Franklyn D. Roosevelt, the 32nd President of the United States of America.
The resort will feature 61 cabins, rooms, and suites, focusing on providing unique culinary experiences thanks to the partnership with the CIA that will provide guests at the One&Only in Hudson Valley with unparalleled access to gastronomic programming and experiences.
The complex will also provide wellness options, including a Longevity Hub by the Clinique La Prairie, a world - renowned Swiss clinic offering exclusive health, wellness, and rejuvenation programs in a serene setting.
The project is part of a strategy of global expansion by Kerzner International Limited, owned by the Investment Corporation which boasts a portfolio of 14 resorts and 381 branded residences worldwide.
