Nobu Hospitality LCC., American hospitality company focuses on modern luxury and minimalist Japanese tradition in its lifestyle hotels and properties, a group founded by renowned Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Academy winner Robert De Niro and Hollywood producer Meir Teper, unveiled a new residential development and restaurant in Miami, Florida, U.S.
The project is in partnership with 13th Floor Investment, a leading investment and development firm that focuses on value - add and opportunities real estate transactions, headquartered in Miami and Key International, a full - service investment and development also based in Miami.
The development includes a 74 - story residential tower named 619 Bricknell, in Miami’s Bricknell district, the city’s financial centre, where glittering business towers condos dominate Biscayne Bay, an area known for its vibrant atmosphere blending urban living with a neighbourly charm, offering several dining, shopping and entertainment options and scenic waterfront views.
The project will include 300 residential units and 90.000 square feet of private amenities including a spa, a fitness centre and a poolside café.
The development will aso introduce Miami’s second Nobu Restaurant, situated on the ground level of the tower featuring a circular design and offering water views.
The architectural design of 619 Bricknell is being handled by Foster + Partners, a global studio for sustainable architecture, urbanism, engineering and design founded by Norman Foster in 1967 and based in London, England, UK in collaboration with Sieger - Suarez Architects, a Miami based firm specializing in the diversified field of luxury high - rise residential design and development.
The design aims to integrate Nobu’s minimalist aesthetic with Miami’s urban landscape, a project that emphasizes the the use of natural materials and expansive terraces.
The announcement marks Nobu’s Hospitality first residential project in Miami with the aim to blend residential living with hospitality services. The timeline for the project’s completion has not been specified.
