American hospitality company headquartered in Parsipanny - Troy Hills - New
Jersey - U.S. founded in 1981 in Dallas - Texas, desctibing itself as the
largest franchisor in the world is actively pursuing plans of expansion in
Greece according to the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts President for Europe, the
Middle East, Eurasia and Africa Dimitris Manikis informed and two properties are already part of this plan.
The company currently operates 13 properties in Greece including three unities in the capital of the country Athens, two in Loutraki, and one each in Alexandropouli, Corfu, Crete, Halkidiki, Nea Makri, Rhodes, Thessaloniki and Vravrona enlarged its portfolio in the Hellenic territory signing two new agreements this year both of which represent a relevant additionin an important market like Greece.
The first project is in partnerhip with DKG Development Group, investment, design, development and property management company, a rapidly evolving group in the field of Real Estate headquartered in Athens and will be the Wyndham Residences Piraeus Zeas which will feature 72 luxury services apartments with sea views.
This luxurt property is located to Marina Zeas also known as Pasalimani, a megayacht marina near the bustling Piraeus area boasting facilities for yachts up to 150 metres in length, close by the main ferry port and 10 kilometres away from Athens downtown will include amenities such as a restaurant, Spa, gym and event spaces.
A second project is in collaboration with Oikos Property Developments, active real estate investment and property management company focused on identifying areas of opportunity in the Greek real estate market will bring the first Ramada Residences by Wyndham to Greece, in the municipality of Aristotle on the coastline of Halkidiki, region in northern Greece well known for its junting peninsula, Mediterranean forests and sandy beaches in sheltered bays.
The property which is scheduled to open in May 2026 will feature 150 tourist accommodations that will offer a full hospitality service.
The Wyndham Hotels & Resorts President for Europe, the Middle East, Eurasia and Africa Dimitris Manikis emphasized the group commitment to enhancing the presence of the group in both high - traffic tourist destinations and emerging markets throughout Greece and as part of this strategy Wyndham plans to announce at least one new partnership before the end of the year, focusing on the Attica Region, the administrative territory that encompasses the entire Athens metropolitan area.
