Marriott International, Inc, famous American multinational company that operates lodging brands that includes hotel, resorts, residential and timeshare properties and franchises, headquartered in Bethesda - Maryland will open a new all - inclusive resort, in Riviera Maya, stretch of Caribbean coastline on Mexico's northeastern Yucatán Peninsula, known for its numerous luxury resorts, long beaches,vibrant nightlife and watersports.
On the road between Cancun, the most populous state of the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, relevant tourist hub and famed holiday destination and Playa del Carmen, charming beach community, well known for its laid – back atmosphere, palm – lined beaches, coral reefs, lies the new Marriott International diamond, Paraiso de la Bonita.
This iconic resort is situated in a tropical paradise along the Puerto Morelos coast, just 20 minutes from Cancun International Airport, an exquisite sanctuary nestled in the heart of the Riviera Maya, perfectly located between a mangrove reserve and the turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean.
Paraiso de la Bonita will be relaunched as a luxury all - inclusive resort under Marriott's Luxury Collection brand, characterized to include hotels and resorts offering, unique, authentic experiences that evoke lasting, treasured memories providing a gateway to the world's most exciting and desirable destinations.
This opening represents a significant step forward for a property that, for years was a regular winner of the AAA Five Diamond award, an independent hotel appraisal system rewarded by the AAA, American Automobile Association to hotels in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
As in its previous live the new Paraiso de la Bonita is an adult - only resort, and that means serene, upscale destination, that's all about seclusion, indulgent luxury, comfort, natural beauty and a great option to enjoy a large range of watersports and outdoor activities.
The resort will provide various dining options include Mayan - inspired restaurant K'Uhul, the Latin American Hoya, Cote a Costa, a Mediterranean restaurant which serves a blend of southern French and Italian flavours along with the Chinese restaurant Qin Qin and a trio of bars and lounges.
This is the second major opening of Luxury Collection in the Mexican Caribbean in just a few months operated by Marriott International, after the debut of Mariott's Almare in Isla Mujeres, famous island where the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea meet, about 13 kilometres off the Yucatán Peninsula coast in the State of Quintana Roo.
