Delhi, India | Set to Start Testing Operations of Advanced Full - Body Scanners at its Airport

Dehli, India's capital territory, a massive metropolitan area in the country's north, straddling the Yamuna river, but spread chiefly to the west, or beyond its right bank, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, capital of several Indian empires in medieval times, and one of the largest cities along the ancient trade routes between India and the northwestern regions of the Indo - Gangetic Plain is set to start testing operations of advanced full – body scanners at its airport.

The operations will start in May with the aim of simplifying passengers screening with faster, and more privacy - conscious technology, to improve security, speed up checks and ensure passenger privacy. 

This pilot programme aims to test state - of – the - art body scanning technology with the purpose to redefine the way passengers are screened at security checkpoints. The move signals a shift towards smarter, faster, and more traveller - friendly safety procedures.

The pilot phase as relevant test will help to evaluate the performance of the scanners in an optimal and accurate way before a full - scale launch, marking a significant step in the modernization of airport operations. 

These new devices which comply with national and international security standards, are introduced according to government guidelines to improve security checks while minimizing incovenients for travellers.

The body scanners which are currently being tested, are also designed to reduce wait times while ensuring thorough security checks without compromising personal privacy, and accurately tested according to official governments protocols and will be evaluated for performances and reliability.

Fully compliant with national and international safety regulations, the scanner requires minimal maintenance and follow strict safety standards set by aviation authorities.

One of their key features is data confidentiality ; scan results are stored securely and are only accessible to designated security personnel, strenghthening both passegers confidence and operational integrity.
