The Council will convene at the invitation of its chairperson at least once every three months, or as needed. Should the Prime Minister attend any session, they will preside over the meeting.
The chairperson will also submit a quarterly report to the Prime Minister, detailing the council's accomplishments, timelines for ongoing initiatives, challenges encountered, and proposal solutions.
This move aligns with Egypt's strategy to diversify its tourism offering beyond cultural and leisure travel, and among its priorities are fostering public - private collaboration, improving accesses to services, and facilitating patient experience, including through a new mechanism to handle complaints.
In addition, the government will launch marketing campaigns to raise awareness of Egypt's competitive edge in medical care and wellness service.
