Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc., renowned American multinatation hospitality company founded in 1919 by Conrad Hilton, headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, group specialises to manage and franchise hotels, resorts and timeshare properties across the world has announced the introduction of its Hampton by Hilton brand in Thailand, a debut tht will be marked by the future opening of a hotel in Phuket ; the Hampton by Hilton Phuket Town.
The new property is expected to open its doors in the third quarter of 2026 will be located in Phuket, Thailand’s largest island, that has been attracting a steady stream of local and international travellers in 2024 in the island, a destination that received over 8.6 million visitors, including the captivating Phuket Town.
Phuket is very famous for its unique Sino - Portuguese heritage, beautiful beaches, turquoise waters, and warm climate that attract every year visitors all over the world, who also appreciate its excellent food, unique culture and fun adventure activities.
This addition brings Hilton’s brand count to nine in South East Asia, where the company currently operates 110 properties, with plans to expand its portfolio to over 50% in the coming years, an introduction that will further solidify Hilton’s leadership in Thailand, which currently holds the company largest portfolio in South East Asia, with 30 properties and 11 more in development.
Hampton by Hilton Phuket Town il located within walking distance from the centre of Phuket Old Town, well known for its several cultural and historical attractions and a multitude of dining, entertainment and shopping options, about 10 minutes to Rassada Pier, one of Phuket’s busiest pier and Phuket International Airport an hour’s drive away.
The hotel will feature 112 comfortable rooms, starting from 21 square metres, with access to amenities including an outdoor pool, and a fitness centre, a property that is set to be a prime destination for business and leisure travellers.
This introduction marks a significant expansion in the midscale segment of Southeast Asia’ hospitality, part of Hilton’s recent growth strategy, which includes the recent addition of two Hilton Garden Inn Hotels in the Philippines and three new Hilton Garden Inn in Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia.
