The situation in the Middle East is likely to affect Jordan's tourism performance in 2025 and despite the lingering impact of the Gaza Conflict, the start of this year has been very promising.

The total number of visitors for the first quarter of 2025 reached 1.507 million, up by 13% compared to the same period of 2024.

Receipts for this period reached 1.72 billion USD, up by 8.85% over the same period of 2024. Last year, Jordan welcomed 6.11 million visitors, a relevant achievement despite a slight drop of 3.9% compared to 2023.

Jordan's tourism sector is showing a positive outlook, with strong revenue growth and increasing visitor numbers, particularly from Arab and international markets, despite some challenges.

The positive performances are attributed to a combination of factors, including effective government support, diversification of tourism markets, efficient campaigns of promotion and the restoration of confidence after geopolitical events.
