Newmark Hotels & Reserves, a world - class specialist management company of African luxury hotels lodges and reserves, located in Mauritius, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania and Zanzibar, established in 2007 with its roots in Cape Town and continuing to expand throughout the African continent has announced the addition of two new safari properties to its growing portfolio, Thitaka Lodge in Namibia and Toro River Lodge in South Africa, both to set to open in the first quarter of 2026.
Thitaka Lodge marks Newark's debut in Namibia. This new development is located in Bwabwata National Park, a protected area in northeastern Namibia along the Kwando River that was established in 2007 covering 6.274 km² created by merging Namibia's Caprivi Game Park and Mahango Game Park, situated in the Zambezi and Kavanngo East regions, extending along the Caprivi Strip.
Designed as a luxury tented camp, the lodge will feature 15 units, including family and private pool villas, set near a key elephant corridor in the Zambezi Region.
The lodge will provide full - board hospitality, with game drives and boat outings showcasing the area's rich biodiverdity.
Toro River Lodge is situated on in the Greater Makalali Private Game Reserve on a 26.000 hectare conservancy in the Hoedspruit region, west of the famous Kruger National Park, in the Limpopo province of South Africa.
The lodge is undergoing a complete refurbishment and will reopen with five exclusive keys, offering luxury safari experiences that include curated game drives, bush walks and a strong conservation focus.
Both openings reflect Newmark's continued strategy of expanding high - end, experiences - led safari offerings across the African continent.
