Niagara Parks, an agency of the Government of Ontario, Canada which maintains the Ontario shoreline of the Niagara River, founded in 1985 and charged with preserving and enhancing the natural beauty of Niagara Falls and Niagara River corridor as a public greenspace and environmental heritage is set to open has a new flying theatre ride, which is scheduled to debut on 29th August 2025.
This new sensory attraction will show a new perspective of Niagara Falls, iconic group of three waterfalls at the southern end of Niagara Gorge, spanning the border between the province of Ontario in Canada and the state of New York in the United States with their fame linked to the spectacular nature of the scenery due to its vast water front and the impressive flow rate.
The $25.0 million project named "Niagara Takes Flight" is Ontario's first flying theatre and will feature a 180 - degree, 17 - metre wide - domed screen and FPV drone technology with effects such as mist, scent and wind to provide a fully immersive experience that stimulates the sensation of flight.
Niagara Takes Flight marks the completion of a multi - phased transformation of the park's flagship building Table Rock Centre, just steps from the falls.
Gondola - style seating will suspend riders over 56 kilometres of parkland and swirling rapids, through dramatic battles than changed the course of history and Horsefall Falls.

Through cutting - edge interactive technology, people will be taken on an immersive visual experience across Niagara and see what makes this part of Ontario so special.
Chair of Niagara Parks, Bob Gale stated that this project represents a significant investment into the growth and success of Niagara's tourism industry, providing a new reason for guests of all ages to visit this iconic destination.
From the spectacular pre-show areas to the film production itself, Niagara Takes Flight offers a new perspective and appreciation for this special place and the world-renowned environmental and culture heritage features the Niagara Parks has been entrusted to protect since 1885.
