Thailand | New Digital Nomad Travel Campaign Launched

Thailand, a very popular tourist destination in Southeast Asia launched a new digital nomad travel the "LOCO (AL) Working Space" that invites remote workers to stay and immerse in authentic communities while stay connected.

This initiative developed by the Tourism Authority of Thailand in collaboration with LoCoworking, a coworking and coliving space provider in Costa Rica, offers "Space Tones"  for seamless and mindful remote working.

"LOCO (AL) Working Space" aims to blend work with cultural immersion focusing to transform the traditional work environment and with the mission to capture a large slice of the growing digital nomad travellers market. 

The initiative is anchored in the "5 Must Do in Thailand" experience pillars, encouraging digital nomads to not only work remotely but live locally,  from tasting regional dishes and trying age - old crafts to buying community - made goods, exploring nature, and seeking inner peace.

The campaign showcases Chiang Mai, Thailand's second largest city and one of Southeast Asia's top digital nomad destinations, the Thai capital, Bangkok and Phuket, the biggest island of the country on the Andaman Sea..

The curated environments will foster productivity, inspiration, and well – being, it says.

Chiang Mai : Valley Space - In Chiang Mai remote workers get a harmonious blend of tradition and modern amenities. Beyond the city's vibrant co – working spaces and artisan markets, remote workers can explore peaceful mountain communities such as : 

•    Mae Klang Luang - A serene village nestled in the Doi Inthanon National Park, amidst rolling hills, this mountain village offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life. This peaceful retreat is ideal for visitors can immerse themselves in the simplicity of rural Thai lfe and discovering the culture of the Karen tribe village, famous for its lush rice fields and vibrant flower gardens. 
•    Mae Mae - Known for its peaceful vibe and lush green hils, immersive eco-tourism experiences and local traditions.
•    Mae Sa Noi - Noted for its serene waterfalls and forest trails, as well as local elephant experiences. Visitors can see elephants bathing in the Mae Sa Noi stream.

Bangkok : Classic Spaces - For digital nomads choosing one of the most attractive cities in Southeast Asia.

Here, digital nomads choosing Bangkok as favourite destination can explore century – old architecture, enjoy coffee in restored shophouses, and discover co – working spaces filled with character.

Phuket : Island Space. For digital nomads who crave beach views and a laid – back island vibe.

 ·       Ko Lon - Just five kilometres from the Phuket coast, Ko - Lon has a relaxed beach vibe with friendly locals, and stunning coral reefs, and fresh seafood offering the perfect balance of productive work and a relaxed island escape.

·       Ko Naka Yai - A small island just a 15 – minute off the northeast coast of Phuket, known for its secluded location. The island's tiny size only about 2.7 km long and less than 1.6 kilometres wide has no crowds or traffic make it an ideal destination to live an authentic experience.
