Hyatt Hotels Corporation, American multinational hospitality company based in Chicago, Illinois announced the opening of the Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa, an adults - only, all - inclusive resort in Miches, a centre in El Seibo Province, on the stunning northeast coast of the Dominican Republic, tucked away on the southern shores of the spectacular Samaná Bay at the foothills of the northern slopes of the Cordillera Oriental.
Playa Esmeralda located within Miches region is a very emergent destination, with a notable development in recent years that has attracted significant upscale investment with high profile properties, highly promoted by the Dominican Ministry of Tourism and the Tourism Board of the Caribbean country in various tourism campaigns and trade fairs for its natural beauty, with 5.0 kilometres of virgin coastline between Miches and Lagunas de Nisibon.
The opening marks the continued expansion of the Secrets Resorts & Spa brand, underscoring Hyatt’s commitment to offering seamless all - inclusive travel experiences that suit every traveller.
The resort also enters into Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection, a portfolio of all - inclusive resorts that were formerly part of Apple Leisure Group (ALG) and acquired by Hyatt Hotels Corporation in 2021 that includes a variety of brands, catering to both family - friendly and adults - only vacations.
Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa, located in a privileged position of the northeast coast of the Hispaniola island offers breathtaking views and a unique natural environment and it features 500 suites. Each suite includes a private terrace or balcony, with options for ocean.
The resort’s Preferred Club accommodations include personalized check - in and check -out, upgrade minibars, and access to exclusive pools and beach areas.
