Seville, Spain | To Host Binómico, the Ibero - American Congress of Gastronomy and Tourism from 15th to 19th October 2025

Seville, the capital and largest city of the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain, situated on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, well known for its rich cultural and historical heritage, boasting a stunning monumental core highlighted by its majestic Cathedral, the iconic Giralda Tower, and numerous Mudejar masterpieces present all around its centre, famous to be one of the Flamenco cradles highlighted by a relevant art scene and a unique, vibrant atmosphere, will host from 15th to 19th October the next edition of Binómico, the international summit that unites Ibero – America through gastronomy, topurism and sustainhability.

The event will take place at FIBES, the Seville Exhibition and Conference Centre, located just three kilometres from San San Pablo airport and five kilometres from the city centre, a venue recognised for hosting major events and professional meetings and for its commitment to innovation and sustainability.

The venue is a two - storey building boasting two large auditioria such as Al - Andalus and Itálica, and since 1989 a consolidated hub that has been promoting projects and ontributing to the economic, social and environmental development.

Nowadays, FIBES represents the think tank for debating, reflecting, and promoting initiatives that build,  a greener, smarter future hosting events of international level as Binómico which promises to have a notable impact in the Andalusian capital.

The event will bring together representatives of the 22  Ibero - American countries with the aim of strengthening the regional identity of Ibero - America by respecting, highlighting, promoting and disseminating its cultural diversity through its gastronomy which stems from important historical ties and generating global business opportunities.

Binómico seeks to promote a a sustainable development model, promoting the commitment of governments and institutions to the 2030 Agenda. Throgh gastronomy and sustainable food as common language, the event is consolidated as a relevant space for exchange, learning, networking and to create international cooperation.

The congress will not only be a showcase of flavours and cultures, but also a spce for reflection on the future of gastronomic tourism and its role in global transformation.

The choice of Seville is no coincidence. The capital of Andalusia symbolizes the bridge between Europe and Latin America, the city hosted the 1929 Ibero - American Exposition, a world’s fair held to strengthen ties between Spain and its former colonies in the Americas that showcased the cultural and economic connections, and also rich culinary traditions that influenced both regions.

Seville, with its, vibrant atmosphere, warm hospitality and a rich cultural heritage is undoubtedly the ideal setting for this celebration of culture miscegenation.
