Hilton | Opened a Dual Branded Hotel, Homewood Suites by Hilton and Tru by Hilton, in Saltillo, Mexico

Hilton Worldwide Holdings, Inc., American multinational hospitality company headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, has announced the opening of a dual branded in Saltillo, the capital and largest city of the northeastern Mexican state of Coahuila, located between Monterrey and Torreón, a centre which boasts a rich history, a vibrant culture, delicious cuisine, breathtaking landscapes, home to amazing attractions, museums, casinos, parks and entertainment and well to be a prominent manufacturing hub noted for its commerce, communications, and boasting one of the largest automotive industries in the country.

The opening featuring Tru by Hilton and Homewood Suites by Hilton is part of Hilton’s expansion in Mexico, where the company currently operates over 110 hotels and has more than 40 additional properties in development focusing on locations with high potential like Saltillo which is recognized as a rapidly growing industrial hub.

The development is owned by American Hotels Group, a company based in Saltillo, providing a high level of service, treatment and quality.

The property is strategically located on Saltillo main highway, Boulevard Venustiano Carranza just five kilometres from the city centre, 10 minute’s drive from Plaza de Armas main square, and a 5 - minute drive from Biblioparque Saltillo Park, and less than 13 kilometres from Aeropuerto Innternacional Plan de Guadalupe.

The strategic location offers convenient access to the Museo del Desierto museum, the Parque Centro shopping complex, and the Santa María and Ramos Arizpe Industrial Parks. 

Tru by Hilton Saltillo features 74 comfortable rooms, marking the brand’s second location in Mexico. The hotel is designed to offer a lifestyle - driven lodging experience, featuring rooms that include workspaces, oversized windows, and spacious bathrooms. The lobby features a custom - designed mural and vibrant zones for socializing and working.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Saltillo, the third of its brand in the country, provides 84 suites designed for extended stays. The suites include separate living and sleeping areas, fully equipped kitchens, and are decorated in gray hues with fuchsia accent.

The dual - branded property offers a range of amenities designed to cater to both business and leisure travellers. Shared facilities include a complimentary hot breakfast buffet, an on - site restaurant serving northern Mexican cuisine, a bar with handcrafted cocktails, and a 24 - hour convenience store.

Amenities include a heated pool, a fitness centre, and a lobby with a foosball table. For business needs, the dual - property features eight meeting rooms with nearly 4.300 feet of flexible event spaces. 

Hilton’s expansion in Saltillo aligns with company broader growth in the Caribbean and Latin America, where it currently operates over 290 hotels and has a development pipeline of more than 140 projects.
