The property is an upscale hotel in a breezy building on a tree - lined street located in Downtown Delray Beach on Atlantic Avenue, a 4 minute walk from the ocean and a 15 - minute walk from the Old School Square arts complex, approximately 12.8 kilometres from the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens.
The renovation of the Seagate hotel, the first Autograph Collection establishment in Delray Beach, encompassed the hotel structure, a private beach club, a golf club and included updates to various facilities with a redesign led by Turnberry, a design company part of the larger real estate development group Turnberry Associates headquartered in Aventura, Florida, which continues to own and operate the property.
The hotel features 157 rooms and suites offering a boutique resort experience and introduced new dining options. These include Bourbon Steak by Chef Michael Mina, Mr. Seas, Venetian Street and the Gate Café which offers a variety of casual dining options throughout the day.
The Beach Club was upgraded with a new pool deck, cocktail bar, and terrace lounge. The Golf Club’s 18 - hole course was modernized, and the spa was expanded to 8.000 square feet, offering nature - inspired treatments.
The property also boasts over 20.000 square feet of meeting and event spaces, redeveloped to accommodate a range of gatherings.
The Seagate Hotel, Golf & Beach joins Marriott Bonvoy’s Authograph Collection which include distinctive, independent hotels with a focus on unique design and local culture, ranging from historic luxury to modern resorts. The collection emphasizes “exactly like nothing else” experiences, often incorporating art, local cuisine, and specific themes like beachside getaways or rich history.
Seagate hotel’s inclusion in the Autograph Collection allows it to participate in Marriott Bonvoy program, enabling members to earn and redeem points during their stay.
