Porter Airlines, Canadian airline headquartered at Billy Bishop Toronto city Airport on the Toronto Islands - Ontario founded in 2006 owned by Porter Aviation Holdings has been classified and awarded as a 4-star airline by passengers certified by APEX. Airline Passenger Experience Association.

The APEX Five and Four Star Airlines Awards are the only global awards based entirely on neutral, third – party passenger feedback and they are the result of passenger ratings from nearly one million flights on nearly 600 airlines around the world, certified by APEX in partnership with TripIt® by Concur®.

The airline that now flies to all provinces of Canada and is growing rapidly in the United States of America including destinations in Arizona, California, Florida and Nevada has received other awards this year such as best economy class at USA Today's Readers' Choice Awards, best Skytrax World Airlines airline in North America,  the Baxter Media's Favorite Airline – Economy Class Service award and the PAX International's Most Improved Airline in North America award.

Porter Airlines since receiving the APEX Four Star Regional Airline rating as well as the APEX Passengers' Choice for the best cabin service in North America in 2023, has expanded its fleet to 42 Embraer E195 – E2 jets and 29 De Havilland Dash 8 – 400 jets, continuing to challenge the way passengers experience economy class air travel.

The Canadian airline said that with no middle seats on any flight, free premium snacks, fresh and healthy meal options, free beer and wine served in glasses and fast, Wi – Fi on E195 – E2 we strive to give all travellers the premium economy experience they deserve.
