Minor Hotels, an international operator, owner and investor in the hospitality industry, company founded in 1978 and headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand has unveiled the future opening of of Avani + Fujairah Resort, in the UAE, in Fujairah, emirated located on the Gulf of Oman, and at the foothills of the Hajar Mountains and well known as the place with the oldest mosque in the United Arab Emirates.
This move marks the introduction of the Avani Hotels & Resorts brand in the United Arab Emirates, an upscale, stylish hotel brand launched by Minor Hotels in 2011, focuses on offering a balance of comfort and style for guests, particularly those who appreciate good design and value.
The future opening is part of Minor Hotels' strategy expansion in the UAE, a very demanded market in continuous progress, reflecting the group's commitment to grow the Avani portfolio in key regional tourism destinations.
The resort is planned to open in 2028 and its development is the result of a collaboration with Al Fahim Group, leading company across automotive, real estate, energy and travel sector based in Abu Dhabi. This partnership expands on the successful relationships between Minor Hotels and the UAE - based conglomerate, following the opening of Avani +Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites.
Through its hospitality investment arm, EPICO, Emirates Property Investment Company Al Fahim continues to contribuiting to the growth and innovation in the UAE's real estate and hospitality sectors.
Avani + Fujairah Resort will be a sprawling low – impact resort that stretched along 300 metres of undeveloped coastline on UAE's lesser- known east coast with unobstructed sea views of the Gulf of Oman and views towards the Hajar Mountains.
The beachfront resort will feature 232 comfortable and modern hotel rooms and 16 large villas ranging from three to five bedrooms, and the accommodation options, designed to cater to families and couples, offer unique features such as direct lagoon access, private pools, setting it apart in the local hospitality landscape.
An open-air Date Palm court greets arriving guests, leading to framed views of the 100 metres long swimming pool aligned with sunrise, and the resort will comprise of a series of memorable moments - photogenic and authentic.
The property will offer a variety of dining and leisure facilities, including a rooftop grill restaurant, a poolside bar and restaurant, an all - day dining dining destination, and a the Pantry, Avani's grab - and go concept.
Additional amenities will include an Avani Spa, a fitness and wellness centre, a swimming pool, meeting rooms and function space for business and leisure travellers and dedicated facilities for children and teenagers.
