Morocco | New Visual Airport Identity as Part of Vision 2030 Strategy Unveiled

ONDA, the Moroccan National Airports Office (Office National Des Aéroports) , the public company responsible for managing airports and air navigation in Morocco, organization established in 1990 that oversees a network of 25 airports, including 19 international ones, playing a crucial role in Morocco’s aviation sector managing air traffic, ensuring safety and security and developving airport infrastructure has unveiled a new visual identity for its airports, rebranding under the name “Airports of Morocco” as part of its “Airports 2030” strategy.

The updated branding, launched on 28th July 2025, aims to align with Morocco’ Vision 2030 and beyond combining heritage symbols with a modern, open outlook.

ONDA explained that the new logo combines heritage symbols with openness to the world through the four cardinal points. The typography, clean lines, and colours of Morocco sky and earth strengthen this signature.

The organization designed the new visual identity to embody the passenger experience, featuring a structured brand architecture and a new name that will appears in all airports : “Airports of Morocco”.

The refreshed brand reflecting a strong visual identity of the North African country supports ONDA’s wider strategic plan to transform Moroccan airports into modern, efficient hubs. Major expansions are planned at key gateways including Casablanca’s Mohamed V Airport, whose capacity will rise from 14 million to 35 million passengers by 2029.

“Airports of Morocco”initiative is within the plan “Airports 2030” strategy which involves a significant investment of MAD 38 billion to modernize and expand its airport infrastructure spearheaded by ONDA with Royal Air Maroc as a key partner aims to transform the airports of the Maghrebi country into global hubs, improve passenger experience and support the country’s economic and tourism goals.

One of the main goals is to more than double the country’s airport passenger capacity to 80 million by 2030.

The plan includes expanding existing airports like Agadir, Fez, Marrakech and Tangier, and building a new hub terminal and runway at Casablanca airport, all upgrades scheduled to meet projected increases in air travel demand, enhancing Morocco’s position as a key aviation and tourism hub between Africa, Europe, and beyond.
