 DAY 1 : YOUR COUNTRY -PALERMO
 Arrival at Palermo airport,arrangements for your rent a car,and have a first contact with this beautiful city with unique treasures of art and with a patrimony of monuments very relevant. Overnight in Palermo.

DAY 2 :  PALERMO 

Explore Sicily's beautiful capital city.Not to be missed is the old city district, including the Norman Palace, the Palatine Chapel and Cathedral, with its imposing portico.Norman Palace,is a diamond of Sicily and it houses the most beautiful works of Arab-Norman heritage the Palatine Chapel is something you can not miss,this masterpiece of golden mosaics and inlays dated 12th centuries built under Roger II rule.Continue your visit the beautiful Martorana known also with the name of "Chiesa di Santa Maria"church of St.Mary dated 12th century and as the Palatine Chapel decorated with splendid mosaics.visit also "San Giovanni degli Eremiti"a charming church with red domes reminiscent of Moorish time and the Chiesa dell´Annunciazione the the Cathedral of the Assumption,with the tombs of the Norman Kings and the holy relics of St. Rosalia, the patron saint of the city.If you have time do not miss the colourful market "A Vucciria"in the area of Cassaro near Va Roma,situated in the place where the Moorish built "Al Quasr"the fortified area of the ancient Palermo under Arab rule.Overnight in Palermo

DAY 3 : PALERMO ´SEGESTA - ERICE
 After your breakfast spend some hours in Palermo for shopping and leisure and later departure to Segesta  and visit the astounding Doric Temple, constructed in the 5th century B.C., representing one of antiquity's best preserved temples. Continue to the medieval city of Erice, splendid town situated at the top of a mountain,here, enjoy spectacular panoramic views and visit the Norman castle built on a site once home to a temple dedicated to the goddess Venus.If you have time visit Marsala, a city most famous for its namesake wine.Overnight in Erice Drive Time: aprox 3 hours.

 
DAY 4  : ERICE -AGRIGENTO-VALLEY OF TEMPLES -PIAZZA ARMERINA

After yuor breakfast departure to Agrigento,ancient Greek city as known as "Akragas"a splendid city rich of ancient buildings and attractive monuments.Continue your visit to the famous Valley of the Temples,driving to the area's most remarkable ancient site where you can see some of the largest and best preserved temple ruins outside of mainland Greece. Continue to Piazza Armerina to view the intricate mosaics of the Roman Villa del Casale, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Overnight in Piazza Armerina.
 Drive Time : aprox 4 hours

DAY 5 -PIAZZA ARMERINA-SIRACUSA-MOUNT ETNA -CATANIA  After your breakfast departure toward Founded by Greeks in 734 B.C., Siracusa was home to mathematician Archimedes and today its Archaeological Museum is the most extensive in all of Sicily. The collection includes countless artifacts of Ancient Siracusa, but its jewel is the statue Venus Anadiomene, a striking depiction of Venus rising from the sea. Also not to be missed is a visit to the Archaeological Park, featuring structural remains of buildings dating back to between 5th and the 3rd centuries B.C., including a Greek and a Roman amphitheatre.Continue to the area of Mount Etna and ascend  the slope to reach the Silvestri Craters, where you can walk throughout the layers of lava that have solidified over the centuries. In the later afternoon continue to Catania enjoying the ancient Greek Colony of Megae Hellas the 2nd city of Sicily.Overnight in Catania.
Drive Time : Aprox 4 hours

 DAY 6 CATANIA-TAORMINA

After your breakfast and enjoy a half day in the beautiful Catania the 2nd sicilian town, visiting Ursino Castle,Cathedral of Sant´Agata,the church of San Nicolo,Bellini Theatre and the house of the famous composer,have a relaxing walk in Bellini Park and admire the beautiful Baroque patrimony the city offers and the Roman-Greek ruins historical patrimony of the city.In the afternoon continuation to Taormina one of Sicily's most prominent attractions, also also known as the Jewel of the Ionic.Of special interest is the Greek Theatre, one of the most celebrated ruins in Sicily, from which you can enjoy magnificent views of the coastline and countryside.Overnight in Taormina.
 Drive Time: aprox  45 minutes

DAY 7 TAORMINA -CEFALU-MONREALE -PALERMO
Departure to Cefalu charming seaside resort. and visit the Cathedral, a well-preserved example of Sicilian Romanesque architecture, its splendid mosaics are among the finest examples of Byzantine art in Sicily and in the world. Continue to Monreale and visit the city's cathedral. Considered the greatest artistic achievement of the Norman kings and one of Italy's national monuments, the impressive Cathedral of Monreale housing one of the most beautiful and intricate mosaics of the world, which completely cover the interior.Continue to Palermo and overnight in the capital of Sicily.
Drive Time: Aprox  2,5 - 3 hours

DAY 8 : PALERMO - YOUR COUNTRY



After yuor breakfast depending of your flight time spend your time enjoying shopping and later departure to Palermo airport.Drive Time: Aprox 30 minutes from Palermo centre town to Palermo airport
