stages of the former village were also extremely linked to the Duchy of Bavaria

The current site after all those ups and downs was incorporated
before in the Austro-Hungarian Empire and after the First World War when
that Monarchy ceased to exist integrated in the Österreicher Republik,
the present Republic of Austria.
For a brief period in more contemporary
times it was also a part of Germany during the times of the Third Reich with
that notorious event corresponding to the Anschluss Österreichs determining the
annexation of the entire Austrian territories in 1938 during the times of
Hitler re-taking its independence after the Second World War.
The town is subdivided in three
specific areas, the first is called Mitterweerberg representing
the centre and beating heart of the municipality, Innerweerberg consisting in a sort of
belt and main

some splendid mullioned windows highlighted by
beautiful arcades, simply perfect is the symmetry with a total harmonious composition
of the upper block.

Of very fine execution is the ample apse forming a
semicircle in which is situated a wonderful altar highlighted by splendid painted Religious
themes visible above the altarpiece. A further relevant attraction is the presence of stunning
stained glass windows depicting the Via Crucis, the Way of the Cross of
Jesus Christ to the mount Calvary.
A notable stylish artistic architectural
highlight is the extreme research of a perfect aesthetic between tonalities and

Once inside you can admire a
long central nave and on its sides you will be delighted by a magnificent
series of high vertical arched windows which transmit luminosity to all the
spaces including in the apse. For date of construction,
position and historic value it is considered the emblematic symbol of the town

In the immediate surroundings of the
town many are the interesting excursions you can enjoy and one of them which is
a must and I suggest you is that leading to the Gilfert, a mount
offering superb panoramic views considered one of the most attractive

It is possible to reach that stunning mount by a spectacular path starting from a verdant plateau going up via Nonsalm
at an altitude of 1785, 0 metres where you will meet a small refuge consisting in a scenic gable wooden house
highlighted by a framed Crucifix fixed on its facade.
From that place before to continue towards the top you can enjoy unforgettable views very suggested for those who love to take many pictures immortalising something of simply extraordinary with a couple of Alpine crests absolutely wonderful, the last section is very scenic with a panoramic straight before the start of a bend flanked by pines at the foot of the northern spur of the Gilfert.

The path leading to the summit is not
extremely difficult, just the last section is pretty steep but what is
simply impressive is the view of fabulous landscapes you will admire all around where
