The StandardX | Debut in Asia with a New Hotel in Bangkok - Thailand


The StandardX sister brand of the first Standard hotel launched 24 years ago by Standard International, group acquired by Hyatt Hotels Corporation, earlier this year for a base purchase price of $150 million  has opened its second property in the capital of Thailand, Bangkok and joining  The StandardX Melbourne in Australia which opened its doors in August 2024.

The StandardX Bangkok Phra Arthit has been designed in a collaboration between the StandardX’s in house team and Studio Freehand, international lifestyle hospitality and F&B design company established in 2018 based in Bangkok, a multi - disciplinary design firm specializing in creative interior design solutions for one - of - a - kind lifestyle.

The hotel is located along Phra Athit Road, a short distance from the 18th century fortress Phra Sumen and the banks of the Chao Phraya River in the vibrant and lively Phra Nakhon, a central district of the city that includes the island of Rattanakosin highlighted by a large dining options, entertainment. relevant historic and cultural  landmarks such as the Grand Palace,  Wata Phra Kaew, the National Museum, the main campus of Thammasat University as well as Silpakorn University.

Colombia | International Tourism Grew by 10.2% in 2024
