Hyatt Centric San José Escazú – Costa Rica | First Brand Hotel in the Country Opening

 

Hyatt Hotels Corporation, famous American multinational hospitality company based in Chicago - Illinois born in 1957 with the acquisition of the Hyatt House of the Los Angeles International Airport by Ronald Hyatt and Jack Crouch, group that manages and franchises luxury and business resorts, hotels and a large range of vacation properties has announced the opening of Hyatt Centric San José Escazú, the first Centric Hyatt branded hotel in Costa Rica.

The hotel is situated in Escazú, inside the metropolitan area of the capital San José, atop hill in the Central Valley, about 8.0 kilometres from downtown San José, well known for its exclusive shopping and dining venues well located for sightseeing and visits of La Paz Waterfall Gardens, Poas Volcano National Park, the National Stadium of Costa Rica and easy access to the lushing rainforests and stunning beaches of the country.

Hyatt Centric San José Escazú features 161 comfortable rooms, it is hosted inside Plaza Tempo Shopping & Business Center along Calle Marginal Sur close to the area of Villa Esperanza and Pavas District in an area with easy access to restaurants, bars, shops and local attractions.

Costa Rican artists have participated in the development of the hotel who have collaborated with Artflow Gallery to create cultural sculptures and glass elements present in the common areas, the modern décor and art reflect a journey into the essence of the country's capital from its hills to the urban center, details that increase the unique experience that the guest will live. 

The rooms and suites boast a stylish décor, bright colors inspired by the landscapes of Cota Rica, equipped with seating areas, minifridges, free Wi-Fi, Drybar hair dryers and plush bathrobes.

The hotel boasts two dining concepts offering local cuisine and artisanal cocktails, the Incese Restaurant, located on the ground floor is inspired by a blend of Costa Rican and international flavors while  19 - 49 Lounge Bar & Café serves traditional Costa Rican coffee and light snacks throughout the day and light snacks at night.

El Salvador | Tourism Exponentially Increases with a Forecast to Receive 4 Million International Visitors in 2025

 

El Salvador, the smallest but also the most densely populated state in the Central American region located on the Pacific Ocean coast, highlighted in its territory by 242 volcanoes, 59 bodies of water, 360 rivers and other geographical features such as valleys, mountains, small bays with pleasant, calm beaches, well known to be the first country in the world to adopt bitcoin as its legal tender,  alongside the US dollar in 2021 is expected to receive 4 million visitors in 2025 by implementing plans to achieve this goal and nowadays with its tourism showing an exponential increase.

With reference to all that the Minister of Tourism Morena Valdez expressed herself who predicted a foreign currency of $4.368 million. The projection of international visitors in 2024 is around 3.8 million, although calculation the country could exceed it, in 2025, 4 million, in 2026, 4.2 million and the ideal is to reach at least 5.0 million visitors in 2030.

The minister pointed out that the results that El Salvador is achieving in the tourism sector are the  coordinated work and plans both from institutions attached to the Ministry of Tourism, as well as other actions linked to the government and private entities.

The Minister then pointed out that observing with statistical data tourism growth of 15% to 20% each month starting in 2023, an exponential growth, all that after the implementation of the exceptional regime, UN Tourism which placed El Salvador at the top worldwide with the highest number of visitors in terms of growth.

As relevant data between january and october 2024, 3.2 million visitors were recorded, this figure represents an increase of 19% compared to the 2.7 million visitors received in the same period period last year and the months of january, march and July were the ones in which the most visits were recorded. 

Up to 40% of international visitors come from the United States of America followed by Guatemala and Honduras with 25% and 16% respectively.

The Minister explained to the commission that the Ministry's budget for next years is $49.897.214 that is, it is reduced by approximately $2 million compared to 2024, however there is an increase in own income.
