Hyatt Hotels Corporation, famous American multinational hospitality company based in Chicago - Illinois born in 1957 with the acquisition of the Hyatt House of the Los Angeles International Airport by Ronald Hyatt and Jack Crouch, group that manages and franchises luxury and business resorts, hotels and a large range of vacation properties has announced the opening of Hyatt Centric San José Escazú, the first Centric Hyatt branded hotel in Costa Rica.
The hotel is situated in Escazú, inside the metropolitan area of the capital San José, atop hill in the Central Valley, about 8.0 kilometres from downtown San José, well known for its exclusive shopping and dining venues well located for sightseeing and visits of La Paz Waterfall Gardens, Poas Volcano National Park, the National Stadium of Costa Rica and easy access to the lushing rainforests and stunning beaches of the country.
Hyatt Centric San José Escazú features 161 comfortable rooms, it is hosted inside Plaza Tempo Shopping & Business Center along Calle Marginal Sur close to the area of Villa Esperanza and Pavas District in an area with easy access to restaurants, bars, shops and local attractions.
Costa Rican artists have participated in the development of the hotel who have collaborated with Artflow Gallery to create cultural sculptures and glass elements present in the common areas, the modern décor and art reflect a journey into the essence of the country's capital from its hills to the urban center, details that increase the unique experience that the guest will live.
The rooms and suites boast a stylish décor, bright colors inspired by the landscapes of Cota Rica, equipped with seating areas, minifridges, free Wi-Fi, Drybar hair dryers and plush bathrobes.
The hotel boasts two dining concepts offering local cuisine and artisanal cocktails, the Incese Restaurant, located on the ground floor is inspired by a blend of Costa Rican and international flavors while 19 - 49 Lounge Bar & Café serves traditional Costa Rican coffee and light snacks throughout the day and light snacks at night.
Hyatt Centric San José Escazú in addition boasts more than 6,000 square feet of flexible event space, ideal for hosting corporate events and special celebrations with Wi-Fi connection, in-house catering, a fitness room, and parking.
To celebrate the opening Hyatt is offering its members the chance to earn 500 bonus points for qualifying nights at the Hyatt Centric San José Escazhotel until 31st January 2025.
Hyatt Centric San José Escazú General Manager Natalia Zora said that the hotel aims to cater to tourists and the growing hotel demand in the region and that the hotel's design is inspired by the local motto that distinguishes the country "Pura Vida" which means pure life, traditional, national slogan, which aims to bewitch the visitors with all its beauty, charm, spirit and soul.
