Turespaña, the official agency of the Government of Spain responsible for the marketing of the country as a tourist destination throughout the world, has judged the rehabilitation and enhancement of 9 paradores for an investment of € 23 million with works that will be carried out in the Paradores of Alcañiz, Baiona, Ceuta, Chinchón, Granada, Jarandilla, Oropesa, Sigüenza and Zamora.
Turespaña through SEGIPSA, the State Mercantile Society for the Management of Real Estate Assets, has published the resolution for the contracts of works for the improvement, conservation, restoration and enhancement of the structures in the above-mentioned localities.
These operations are part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan funded by the European Union – Next Generation.
The total investment of the contracts amounts to € 23 million, the most expensive will be those of Baiona and Zamora with € 6.6 and € 4.2 million respectively.
The actions linked to conservation, rehabilitation and enhancement of the buildings of the paradores will be dedicated to the restyling of gardens and unique elements of each of the historic structures with the consideration of the BIC, Asset of Cultural Interest which will also see works regarding the monumental lighting of the 9 paradores.
The works for the execution will vary in each Parador, for example for the Parador of Chinchón the operations will endure 8 months, for that of Zamora 18 all from the signing of the relevant contracts that are in the process of formalization, once 10 calendar days have passed from his adjudication.
