This ranking of airlines is drawn up annually by APEX, Airline Passenger Experience Association, a global non-profit and one of the world's international airline associations, dedicated to research and evaluation in the field of air travel experience.
The ranking is based on the independent evaluation of more than one million flights by passengers from nearly 600 airlines around the world, with scores ranging from 1 to 5 stars.
This year the criteria have been further restricted by limiting access to the 5-star category to only the top 40 airlines in the world, less than 7% of the airlines evaluated overall.
This award is a testament to the excellence of Air France's expertise in offering its services in all cabins, from the attention paid to each customer in terms of seating comfort, to the extensive and curated dining and entertainment on board and with Air France in its commitment to ensuring that every journey offers an unforgettable travel experience.
Air France's SVP of Customer Experience Fabien Pelous said the company is very proud to receive this award for the third year in a row and is particularly honored to be included in this 5-star category, which positions Air France among the best airlines in the world.
