Paris | "Eiffel Tower Effect" New Immersive Experience

The Société d'exploitation de la Tour Eiffel which manages the major operations related to the iconic wrought iron lattice tower erected on the Champ de Mars in Paris and named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built this attraction from 1887 to 1889 has recently started the experience named "Eiffel Tower Effect".

This new experience was designed by metaverse star-up Mira and takes place on the first floor of the monument.

Visitors, equipped with a special virtual reality headset, board a Zeppelin and then act with the Iron Lady in teams of 2 to 4 people with the task of solving anomalies, while they experience a pseudo free flight with guaranteed panoramic views day and night.

This new, fun experience can be considered the continuation of a real visit and lasts 12 minutes from Monday to Sunday from 11.00 to 20.00.

Prices are €15 for adults and €12 for children under 12 years old and as an important note the experience is recommended from 11 years old and not accessible to children under 8 years old.

During the week before the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics, the Eiffel Tower will remain open.

Located in the perimeter of protection called SILT established by the Prefecture of Police of Paris, a specific system will be applied for the reception of visitors.

During the period, proof of booking will be required to verify and allow access to the reinforced security corridor that will lead to the entrances of the iconic Eiffel Tower.

Visitors must first make a reservation with date and time at the official ticket office of the monument.
