Rimini, a summer resort of international importance in Emilia Romagna boasting a coastline that extends for 15 kilometers along the coast of the upper Adriatic Sea with a very long tourist tradition starting from 1873 when the first bathing establishment on the Romagna Riviera was inaugurated, will host the second edition of Luxury Event by TTG to be held at the Grand Hotel in Rimini on 08th October 2024.
The event will be celebrated the day before the start of TTG Travel Experience and InOut | The Contract Community and the Group Exhibition Manager Tourism & Hospitality Division of IEG Gloria Armiri commented that this important event entirely dedicated to business is an appointment where Italian and international buyers will be able to meet in the name of an exclusive but sober, elegant but hidden, unique but balanced luxury.
This event will bring together the most qualified international buyers focused on one-to-one meetings between high-ranking operators.
The luxury segment will be protagonist of the event which in Italy represents 25% of the total induced activities of the tourism sector compared to 2% in terms of total attendance according to data reported by Altagamma, Association of Italian luxury brands which represents the design, fashion, food & beverage, jewelry, automobile and hospitality industries recognized globally as authentic ambassadors of Italian style.
This segment has been evolving progressively for some time with new trends appearing on the market with the new generations as protagonists, generating new targets such as "luxury seekers", those who are ready and willing to spend on experiences to show their well-being, and the rampant "wellness worshippers" who put first, as a priority, above all experiences in the middle of nature.
As an additional note, on the occasion of the 61st edition of TTG Travel Experience, a novelty but important protagonist will be the nautical sector which is growing rapidly in the luxury market with a dedicated exhibition focus in this event.
In Italy there are over 7.500 kilometers of coastline and in the year 2023 bookings rose exponentially by 130% compared to 2022 while the spending of Italians in the sector recorded a significant figure with an increase of 53%, making the pleasure boating sector an absolutely indispensable resource for the national tourism economy.
The categories involved range from marinas, parks and coastal reserves, cruises, nautical charters and also skippers, courses for pleasure boats, diving, boat excursions and trade associations.
