HolaCamp, Catalan company active in the campsite sector with units in Barcelona, Chilches, Mequinenza, Palamós, Sitges and Vendrell, expands internationally in Portugal with the acquisition of Camping Albufeira located in the largest, liveliest and most exciting of all resort towns that line southern Portugal's splendid Algarve coastline.
The group plans to invest more than €4.0 million in the next three years to improve Camping Albufeira located in Estrada de Ferreiras N395, probably one of the most complete and unique campsites of its kind in Portugal.
Camping Albufeira offers as an option to campers,complementary accommodations, such as bungalows and caravans.
In a report by Publituris HolaCamp CEO Alfonso Leprevost declared that the decision to acquire Camping Albufeira is essentially for its privileged location in a natural environment and because it is situated in a top international, tourist destination.
The large size of the campsite will allow the group to create different spaces for the different customer profiles of HolaCamp's portfolio.
