Mevoydeviaje,  tourism group with extensive experience in travel and tourism offering exclusive trips and promotions based in San Isidro - Lima - Peru, has drawn up a recent report highlighting that the number of digital nomads in the world continues to increase, exceeding 35 million also believing that by 2025 remote work will contribute 20% to global tourism and it has compiled a list o the Top Latin American preferred destinations for digital nomads.

In the preferences, one of the favorite destinations in the Caribbean region is Punta Cana, a renowned destination to be enjoyed 365 days a year situated in the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic in the municipality of Higüey in the province of La Altagracia, abuts the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.

This very lively and vibrant locality packed by trendy clubs, restaurants, bars is well known for its 32 kilometres of sandy coastline and blue turquoise waters, where the exotic beaches of Playa de Arena Gorda, Playa Uvero Alto, Playa Macao, Playa Bávaro, Playa El Cortecito and Playa Lavacama stand out.

Another preferred destination by digital nomads in the Caribbean area is Varadero, idyllic locality of Cuba also referred to as Playa Azul, the Blue Beach situated in the province of Matanzas on the suggestive, narrow Hicacos Peninsula, a popular destination along 20 kilometres of Atlantic coastline highlighted by incredible fine sand beaches and warm, crystal - clean waters.

Varadero offers a relaxed atmosphere, trendy clubs, endless opportunities to practice water sports and plenty of choice to enjoy the endless range of typical Cuban dishes in refined and characteristic restaurants.

High approval ratings from digital nomads concern Mexico with Riviera Maya and Cancun at the top of the list.

The Riviera Maya is that splendid stretch of Caribbean coastline on Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula, well known for its long pristine beaches, several all - inclusive resorts, trendy clubs, bars and restaurants offering a large variety of entertainment and delicious gastronomic specialities.

The Riviera Maya with a mild climate all year round is also nhighlighted by the suggestive tip of Punta Allen, the living centre of Puerto Morelos and the famous Playa del Carmen highlighted by its captivating coastline flanked by blue waters without forgetting the area of Tulum, iconic site of a pre – Columbian Mayan walled city well known for its ruins and the Temple of the God of Wind.

Cancun is a further destination among the favourite by digital nomads, it's the most populous city in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo in southeast Mexico located on the northeast coast of the Yucatán Peninsula well known for its sandy beaches, water sports activities, vibrant nightlife, a vast range of stylish and comfortable accommodation and a very ample gastronomic offer.

San Andrés, in Colombia is another destination among the most loved by digital nomads, a beautiful, coral island in the Caribbean Sea declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, named "Seaflower Biosphere Reserve" a paradise highlighted by its rich biodiversity, turquoise waters, picturesque cays and coves, pristine beaches and magnificent coral reefs.

San Andrés is also very famous for its lush pastures, coconut palm platantations, mangrove forests, which all together give a green accent to the wonderful nature of the island which also offers leisure, entertainment and leisure in the North End area. 

Mevoydeviaje Manager Vasco Ferreira de Matos commented that in 2024 there was a 25% increase in demand for tourist destinations that adapt to remote work and Digital nomads are characterized by their strong sense of finding ideal places to live a unique tourist experience, adapting to the change but without sacrificing connectivity.
