The United States of America has a new State Park, specifically in California,it is the Dos Rios located about 90 miles east of San Francisco.
Dos Rios is the first new national park in more than a decade for California, which already boasts more than 275 state parks in an area very famous for its outdoor activities.
The new park is spread over an area of approximately 1,600 acres and is considered the largest floodplain restoration project in California.
Located on the Pacific Flyway next to San Joaquin River, in this area the visitor will have the great opportunity to see numerous species of birds and a remarkable wildlife in a habitat that will allow people to enjoy trekking and other experiences exploring the beautiful, local territory with in addition improving their physical well-being with different outdoor activities.
Officials at the new State Park plan to further expand the park, including with a greater access to water and the public is invited to contribute ideas for the expansion of Dos Rios.
