La Cistenrìga, a Spanish municipality in the province of Valladolid integrated into the region of Tierra de Pinares, a territory belonging to the autonomous community of Castilla y León, will be the venue for the Gastronomic Festival to be held from 27 to 29 June in conjunction with the XXI Cohabitation of the Associations of the Elderly of the province.
The President of the Provincial Council of Valladolid, with the presence of the Mayor and the President of the Associations of the Elderly, presented the Gastronomic Festival that will be celebrated in the Plaza Mayor of La Cistérniga.
. The president's message is focused on the intention of the institutions, enhancing the response that this first edition has with the hope of holding future editions by making them coincide with important events that will be celebrated in the municipalities of the entire province.
This new initiative promoted by the Provincial Council of Valladolid aims to advertise and promote local gastronomy by introducing visitors to various local culinary delights thanks to the presence of 14 producers belonging to the Alimentos de Valladolid brand who will be protagonists alongside 14 other companies in the city and its surroundings.
The market will start on Thursday 37th from 11.00 am to 2.30 pm and from 4.30 pm to 8.30 pm. Friday 28 June in the afternoon only from 17.00 to 20.30.Saturday 29 June the hours will be from 11.00 to 15.00 and from 17.00 to 20.30.
In addition to the market, on the 28th and 29th there will be workshops for children aged between 6 and 12 years with a maximum of 25 participants per creation and free tastings for people over the age of 16 with a maximum of 30 people per tasting.
There will also be workshops on baking and the preparation of fried doughnuts, tastings of Quesos Félix, Miel Sandonís and Ideal Fruits, as well as Bodega Rodríguez y Sanzo, Alas de Campos and Clauval Artesanos.
In the event there will also be musical performances that will extend over all the days of the I Gastronomic Festival with the shows of Versiona2 on the 28th and the Tribute to Mecano on the 29th which will both take place at 21.00.
